Fort Lauderdale Hospital Recognizes Outstanding Employees

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – (Oct. 26, 2009)Fort Lauderdale Hospital, a Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. facility, recently recognized eight employees for their outstanding contributions to the facility.

Fort Lauderdale Hospital CEO Manny Llano emceed the “Shining Stars Employee Luncheon” on October 9. The annual luncheon recognizes and rewards those employees who consistently go above and beyond the parameters of their job description to improve the lives of their patients.

“The employees honored at this year’s ‘Shining Stars Employee Luncheon’ are tremendous assets to our hospital,” said Llano. “Their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile have greatly enhanced our ability to provide the best care possible to each of our patients.”

This year’s luncheon recognized the following employees: Bruce Santiago, Program Therapist; Bertha Jimenez, Housekeeping; Andy Belen, Director, Physical Plant; Nanette Lopez, Accounts Payable; Miriam Griffin, R.N., Program Director; Marc Carlino, Marketing Coordinator; and Susan Murray, R.N., Adolescent Unit Nurse.

Each award winner’s name will be added to the “Shining Stars” plaque that is on display in the hospital lobby. They also received an engraved star pin and other gifts.
